MAGAZINE: (中古) used - acceptable, worn

July 20–26, 1991, issue of TV Guide featuring a memorial cover for actor and filmmaker Michael Landon.

TV Guide devoted its cover to "Michael Landon's Final Days," illustrated by John Solie, detailing how his family had gathered around him at the end but that he asked everyone except his wife, Cindy, to leave his bedside to spare them his final moments. The issue also promised a look at his life in pictures, his last TV project, and the legacy he left America.

Landon had built one of television's most enduring careers, starring as Little Joe Cartwright on Bonanza from 1959 to 1973, Charles Ingalls on Little House on the Prairie from 1974 to 1983, and Jonathan Smith on Highway to Heaven from 1984 to 1989. Over his career he appeared on the cover of TV Guide 22 times, second only to Lucille Ball.

Landon was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April 1991 and died less than three months later, on July 1, 1991, at his home in Malibu, California, at the age of 54. This issue went to press as a memorial tribute just nineteen days after his death.
