Album of North American Animals by Vera Dugdale, Clark Bronson
by Vera Dugdale (Author),
Clark Bronson (Illustrator)
A good read! Each animal has four pages dedicated to it. Three pages of text and one full-color illustration on the fourth. Other pictures are included and scattered throughout, even a map showing where the animal can be found.
You learn about it's body and coloring, the general atmosphere of mating season and how the babies grown and are cared for. The scientific name is provided, along with an assortment of interesting facts.
Definitely a good book for those wanting to learn about the animals of North America.
