A page turner, a binge read eh! I really enjoyed this. It was a late night, I was tired, my wife was asleep and I wanted an escape and not via teevee. I was comfortable in bed, the fan on, and I read the whole book. I knew I had to rise early for work but I could not stop. It is a story of a young man in Michigan who has grim experiences, runs away to Hollywood and as you can imagine has many adventures to share. I love the details, the dirt, the honesty. Perhaps it cheapens my review, but hey film makers, take a look at this! Recommended!

“What happened to fantasy for me is what also happened to rock and roll. It found a common denominator for making maximum money. As a result, it lost its tensions, its anger, its edginess and turned into one big cup of cocoa.” - Michael Moorcock
